TWA Chocolate-making Class Photos
The Tuesday Women’s Association (TWA) Chocolate Saturday was a huge success! On Sat., April 7, fourteen women and two children attended a beginning chocolate-making class taught by Doreen Hulsey, who talked about some of the various types and other aspects of chocolate. With milk chocolate, the class molded it, as well as made rocky road and chocolate with almonds. Dipping items in dark chocolate, the class made many yummy, chocolate-covered items, such as caramels, peeps, Rice Krispie Easter eggs, and many more.
Kayla Vaughan was instrumental in helping throughout all phases of the class from conception through implementation, so a big thanks goes to Kayla! Also, Sue Mendez, who attended the class and who also has made chocolates in the past to sell, was a big help at the Saturday class. Not only did she bring her chocolate molds, but also she also helped out and provided additional advice. Big thanks to Sue!
Thanks to all who helped clean up!
Thanks to Billie Teneau for her wonderful photos!
