Owls of Missouri

Speaker: Brenda Hente, Educator and Naturalist; Volunteer, World Bird Sanctuary

There are four native owls that live in Missouri all year round, and four other owl species that migrate or visit Missouri. Ms. Hente will tell us about the characteristics of each species, vocalizations, nesting and breeding habits, food requirements, habitat, and their range in Missouri. Great videos, pictures and stories will help us learn each of the eight different owl species we have in the Show Me State.
