Jim Rhodes is interested in leading a monthly outing to combine a short hike with a visit to a cultural or historic site followed by an optional lunch after. These outings will be on the third Thursday of each month and will be either to a local site or to a place further out such as a state park or historic site. The group size will be limited to a maximum of 10 people. The planned outing for September 16 is a short hike at Jefferson Barracks Park, followed by a visit to the Missouri Civil War Museum, and then lunch in a nearby restaurant.
