Good Cheer

Greetings, all members and friends. The Good Cheer celebration is almost here! Please read carefully as there are changes this year in response to the October survey about Good Cheer. The majority of respondents preferred a catered dinner instead of a potluck. We will have pasta, salad and bread for dinner.
In order to plan well, we’ll need an accurate head count for the meal being catered by Pasta House.
The charge will be somewhere between $11 and $13 for adults and $6 for children, exact amounts TBD. You may BYOB or wine, and a dessert to share if you’d like.
Please RSVP here before December 12. If you are unable to use the linked RSVP form, you may email Nancy Jelinek at njelinek@ethicalstl.org to make your reservation. No advance payment required. Cash and credit card payments accepted on the night of Good Cheer. Enjoy your choice of meat, vegetarian and gluten-free options.
If you do not plan to eat dinner, come anyway to the Good Cheer program in the auditorium! There’s no entry fee. For those who forget to RSVP and DO want to have dinner, enjoy socializing until those with reservations have been served. Then you’ll have an opportunity to eat and be (more) merry, (quantities permitting).
The Plan: 4:30-5 p.m. – Staggered arrival to avoid long lines. Please come anytime after 4:30.
6 p.m. – Community clean-up after dinner then all go upstairs for the evening program.
6:30 p.m. – Good Cheer begins.
7:15 p.m. – Return downstairs for cider, cookies, and caroling by the piano with Music Director Claire Minnis and Connor Scott. If you play a musical instrument and would like to join in the fun, please bring your instrument with you.
8 p.m. – Put tables and chairs away and say goodbye until the new year!

Good Cheer will feature music from The Roominators, Ethical Voices, and Connor Scott. The Roominators perform originals and covers in rock, pop, and blues.
