Fall Gathering is returning this year, and we hope that you will all join us! This is a celebration of member anniversaries and a time to reconnect, both after the summer and a hiatus brought on by the pandemic. There will be no Forum and a slightly different format for Platform. During Platform we will take time to celebrate member anniversaries and share information on membership, music, and the youth education program.

Afterward, several activities will commence both indoors and outdoors. We will have a professional photographer on site so please come by the Becker Room to sign a photo release, but mostly to get a “Tour of the Ethical Society” booklet. The booklet has five stations where you can learn or revisit information about the Ethical Society. Once you receive a stamp from each station, you can return to the Becker Room to add your back page to the raffle basket. This can be found at the same table you picked up the booklet. Raffle winners will be announced at 1:30 p.m. outside on the patio. Other activities include indoor games in the Hanke Room, cake and refreshments in the Becker Room, live music on the patio, and outdoor games and a bounce house in the parking lot. Because this event is from 12-2 p.m., please bring a sack lunch. Please consider bringing a cooler and dropping it off in the Becker Room. If it is a small item, you may place it in the fridge in the kitchen.

Childcare will be provided as follows: For children in Kindergarten or older, childcare/open play will be in the Becker Room from 10:45 a.m. to noon.

Childcare/open play for ages 5 and under will be in the Nursery from 10:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. If your child(ren) will be staying in the Nursery the entire time, please provide a sack lunch for them at drop-off and the childcare providers will feed them at noon. (Refrigeration will be available for lunches.)

This Platform will also feature the Justice Choir STL, The Ethical Band, and Ethical Voices. The music programs at the Ethical Society of St. Louis aim to advance our organizational mission to create a more just, loving, and sustainable world for all.
