Ethicyclists Ride: Chesterfield Valley to Weldon Spring!
July 10, 2021 @ 9:30 am - 2:00 pm

The Ethicyclists’ 3rd ride of the season will be a favorite past ride from Chesterfield Valley to the Interpretive Center in Weldon Spring. On Saturday, July 10, we will meet at the TopGolf (used to be Hardee’s IcePlex) parking lot near the Missouri Greenway Trailhead aka Monarch Levee Trail. Meeting time is 9:15a and the departure is 9:30 a.m. We will ride the trail over the Daniel Boone Bridge and snake down to the Katy Trail. Going west one mile, we hit the August Busch Greenway Trail through the Missouri Research Park and take a rest stop at the Weldon Spring Site.
Those who are game can walk up to the environmental disposal cell and take in panoramic views of St Charles County. On the return to the Katy Trail, we’ll have the luxury of speeding down the challenging hill that we just traversed. So it’s a 22 mile round trip back to TopGolf for lunch. Bring a helmet, sunglasses, sunscreen, extra tube, water, and snack if you like. Contact Joe Corrigan at 314-753-5538 or japplecorr@att.net for more information. Rain/excessive heat day is July 17. If you want to be included on our emailing list for updates on this or future rides, contact David Brown at david@thebrowngreens.com.
