Climate Action Now! – Tour Jim Jordan’s home and his systems approach to carbon footprint reduction

Visit a home designed using a climate change lens and a systems approach. Society member Jim Jordan has implemented a comprehensive systems approach to reducing his home’s carbon footprint
Jim employed new technologies, careful planning, and decision-making based on climate impact to design and maintain his home and yard. Notable features include: Gold certified “Bring Conservation Home” yard with vegetable garden, all electric power with Solar EV, aging in place design elements. Jim has also created a worksheet to help participants think about ways we can reduce the carbon footprints of our own homes, whether we own or rent.
