Ethical Navigators Weekly Update – November 1, 2015
Summary:
- Our next Outing will be on November 7, when we see a puppet show and then build care packages for the homeless. Please donate for Winter Outreach, if you can.
- Our next General Meeting will be November 22 at 9:45.
- Our next Council Meeting will be November 15 at 9:30.
Outings
November 7: Puppet Theater and Service
We will attend Bob Kramer’s Marionnettes at 10 am and then go to a member family’s house for a service project for Winter Outreach. Haley Pepper is organizing the Puppet Show, and Mel Johnson is organizing the Winter Outreach service project (please see the flyer for information about what you can donate in advance and at the day of service).
Here’s part of an update on the Winter Outreach project from Melissa Johnson, the organiszer:
We’ve had a great response at the Society, with almost 200 granola bars donated! We’ve also received several other items including: tuna, nuts, applesauce, and cough drops. If you’re collecting items on your own, or still plan to buy some things, I ask that you focus on the other items on the updated flyer (attached).
We will meet at Haley’s parents house on Saturday, November 7th after the Bob Kramer’s Marionnettes outing (which is very close in proximity) to assemble the bags of goodies. The goal for each bag is to include at least 2 sweet snacks, 2 salty snacks, 1 pack of tissues, 1 lip balm, and some cough drops. We hope to see everyone there!
The puppet show will cost $10/adult and $8/child. Please RSVP to EthicalNav@gmail.com if you plan to attend.
General Meetings
November 22
We will build on the service project outing in November with a service project morning. Please meet at 9:45 at the Ethical Society to help clean up around the Society.

November Council Meeting
Our next Council meeting is scheduled for 9:30 am on November 15 in the Nursery School Green Room. All are welcome to observe and comment.
