Outings
January 18
We will be kicking off our new year with a fun event – a skating party at Steinberg Ice Skating Rink in Forest Park at 1pm on January 18 (this was originally scheduled for today, but we postponed due to the rain). Please join us for winter fun. You can rent skates at the rink if you don’t have your own. Expect to pay $7 for admission and $5 for skate rental (they are cash only, but they have an ATM)*.
In case of bad weather or extreme cold (colder than 25 degrees or actively snowing or raining), we will delay a week.
At the party, and also that morning at the Society, we will be registering families for membership in the Chapter for 2015.
See you there!
*If this is a financial hardship, please let us know (talk to Lance Finney or Tom Draney). We don’t want to exclude anyone due to financial concerns.
February
We have tentative plans for winter cabin camping during February. We have looked at several campsites, but we do not have a date or place yet. More information will be forthcoming.
