Mission: The Board is the governing body of the Society, overseeing Society programs, planning long-range growth, and managing the Society's finances. Meetings: First Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m. To get on the agenda, contact the Board President two weeks before the meeting. Term: Society members elect Board members for three-year terms in a staggered schedule. 2007-2008 President: Jane Langa Program Council Mission: Manages and coordinates the programs and services that the Society offers to members and the community at large by helping new groups form, supporting the ongoing activities and functions of existing groups, and serving as a liaison between members and groups and the Board of Trustees. Meetings: Second Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m. To get on the agenda, contact the chair two weeks before the meeting. Organization: Comprises the chairs of the Society's program-related standing committees, two at-large positions, and a chair, who serves as the liaison to the Board of Trustees. 2007-2008 Chair: Julia Lamborn |
